Yesterday Year 1 had a fantastic day in Scarborough. We left Bradford and it was a little bit dull but as we travelled towards the coast the sun started peeping through. We arrived at the Sealife Centre and went inside. The children got to see sting-rays, sharks, octopus, jellyfish, seals, otters, penguins, a giant turtle and many types of fish. We then headed onto the grass for our picnic lunch. Next we walked down to the beach where we paddled, built sandcastles, played with the beach ball and played cricket. It was a super day!

Miss Scott, it looks like the whole of year 1 had a fabulous day at Scarborough Sealife centre, followed by a visit to the beach with icecream. Corben especially enjoyed petting a starfish and telling me they had no brains! Excellent memories for the children! High 5!

Mohsin had a wonderful time at the Sea Life Centre! He was still talking about his visit a week later.
The weather was perfect to be at the beach and have ice cream; All the children look like they were having fun.
