2: Learning more – research
We are striving to understand more about what’s helping or stopping people from being active in the home at this time. Amanda, our Born in Bradford researcher, is working with us to collect data to allow us to study this in detail. We need your help reaching families to be able to ask the relevant questions and make sure JU:MP@Home is as good as it can be. If you would like to get involved or find out more, you can contact Amanda on Amanda.email@example.com
3: Love Exploring
From the end of July, virtual dinosaurs will be coming to Peel Park and Lister Park! Using an interactive map on the augmented reality app, Love Exploring, users can find dinosaurs and take part in interactive quizzes which reveals landmarks and park facts. We will be contacting families who join up through getting play packs to let them know when the dinosaurs are in the park and it will be publicised on social media.
4: Chalk Walks
From the end of July we will be leaving chalk markings on the pavements leading from your school to Lister Park to encourage families to be outside. There will be chance for families to take part in an activity where they can enter into a prize draw to win a go-kart and supermarket shopping vouchers! We will be contacting families who join up through getting play packs to let them know when the chalk markings are on the floor and it will be publicised on social media.
5: Summer activities
Soon there will be socially distanced activities taking place in your area for children to be active. These are providers that we’re working closely with and are confident that the appropriate measures have been put in place in order to protect our families from COVID-19. The providers will be promoting their sessions locally and we will be posting details of the sessions on our website. Please keep an eye on the JU:MP website as we will update this as and when sessions are arranged.
