On World Book Day, Unit C had a fun Roald Dahl Day. In 3H classroom we had to make our own ghastly poems about ‘George’s Marvellous Medicine’ that he gave to his Grandma.
After playtime we went into the hall with Miss Halliwell to have a go at some ‘oompa-loompa’ dancing in groups of 4. We had to make our own dance using little bits from the real film.
After we performed our dance, we went to Miss Bell’s room to do some baking. We made some medicine for George’s Grandma using chocolate.
In the afternoon we made some pretty dream catchers from ‘The B.F.G.’ We had to use wool to make the web inside and then we decorated with beads and sequins. We had a great day!
