Keep an eye out for Wellington Rocks!

Wellington Rocks has had a brilliant response from the children in Reception and KS1. Today we had our first group and here are the results! This will be a weekly group, usually on a Monday, but on a Tuesday next week due to Monday’s Training Day closure. If your child has expressed an interest in Wellington Rocks, please be assured that they will get the opportunity to attend. We’re limiting to 8-10 children per session to ensure the highest quality experience for the children, so please bear with us as we get through everyone.

Also, look out for our rocks appearing around the school grounds in the next few days once they’re dried and varnished! The idea is that generally the Rocks, once decorated, are ‘hidden’ by the children who have decorated them within the school grounds for their peers to find and ‘re-hide’.  If you do find one of our Wellington Rocks, please share to the school’s Twitter Page @WellingtonPSBD2.

Each of our rocks is labelled with Wellington Rocks #WPSRocks and the initials and class of the child who painted it.
